Group Mentoring
With the right group of mentors, we hope to get our Group Mentoring Program off the ground soon. This is a great opportunity for adults who aren't quite sure if they are ready to dive into our One-to-One Youth Mentoring program. Mentors participating in our Group Mentoring program would show up at the assigned time and location for our event and meet with other mentors as well as mentees from our waiting list. Mentors would not be assigned to a certain child but rather can mix and mingle and get to know various children on our waiting list. Mentees would be transported to events by Community Youth Mentoring staff so that Group Mentors are not responsible. Group mentoring is a great way to "get your feet wet" and still make a difference in the life of a child in our community.
Potential events include:
- Board Game Nights
- Bowling
- Dinners
- Painting Nights
